Feminist Voices Announces Pride Fair 2023

Feminist Voices Zimbabwe is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a Pride Fair in 2023. This event will be an opportunity for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to come together and celebrate their humanity in a safe and inclusive space. As an organization that has worked on various LGBTQIA+ projects this year, it was important for us to set aside this time to convene and celebrate our diverse experiences.

The Pride Fair will showcase queer artists, performers, and entrepreneurs from the community who will have the opportunity to showcase their work and be supported by attendees. We believe that events like these are critical in creating a supportive environment for queer individuals where they can fully express themselves without fear of discrimination or judgment.

We understand that being part of the LGBTQIA+ community can often come with its own set of challenges, including lack of representation, discrimination, and stigma. However, we hope that our Pride Fair will create a platform where members of the community can connect with each other, share stories, enjoy entertainment, and feel empowered.
